C. Required papers to issue Insurance Policy

  1. All types of policy: Proposal Form
  2. Motor Insurance: Bluebook photocopy
  3. Marine Insurance: Letter of Credit, Invoice, Proforma Invoice Contractor’s
  4. All Risk: Contract Detail, Bill of quantity (BOQ)
  5. Travel Medical Insurance: Passport photocopy
  6. Other Insurance: Papers required by the company

D. Required time to prepare Insurance Policy

General policies: Within half an hour High sum insured and other policies that call for risk analysis: 2 days maximum after receiving all required information from Clients.

E. Amount required for Insurance Policy and Renewal policy 

Total amount (Premium, Stamp Duty and VAT) according to Insurance Policy or Tax Invoice.

G. Renewal notice

Company shall send a renewal notice to insured with required premium before one month of the policy expiry to the address provided in the proposal form or send an email at the contact email address submitted by the client or send an SMS notification to the customers on the mobile number submitted by the customer or notify the customer via telephone available in the customer database of the customer.

H. Where to claim

Company’s Claim Dept. at Head Office, Premier Bhawan, Naxal, Kathmandu, or Company’s any branch (Refer to Company’s Network page). Also can be emailed directly to claim@picl.com.np

I. Time taken to pay the claim:

After the acquisition of the final report from the surveyor and all other related papers, the claim will be paid within 7 days to the customer.

M. Quarterly report publication

According to the Instruction of Beema Samiti and Nepal Security Board, Company will publish the quarterly report in the National Standard daily newspaper.
