Premier Insurance 10th Anniversary

Premier handed over cheque amount of Rs.1 lac to Vice Mayor of Bhartpur Municipality
Premier Insurance has marked its 10thanniversary on 29th Baisakh, 2061. Various activities were organized on this occasion. A blood donation program was held in collaboration with the Nepal Red Cross Society at the company’s premises. This has been one of the regular social service programs organizing by PICL every year on the occasion of its anniversary. An in-house seminar was held at the Premier club, Thaiba. The seminar emphasized on career development program, competitive analysis and performance evaluation system within the organization. Various staff recognition awards were also distributed during the day long program. The program also included various entertainment programs. In order to mark the occasion, a cocktail dinner party was also held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Most of its eminent clients were invited to this dinner party.

During the fiscal year 2060/61, the company has earned a insurance premium of Rs. 9 crore and 90 lakhs. The company has recently introduced a new insurance package named ‘Gharpariwar Surakshya Bima Yojana’ in the market which includes, house hold insurance, personal accident insurance, and hospitalization insurance in a very nominal premium. The company having 6,650 share holders has been listed as an ‘A’ class company for the last 7 years by the Nepal Stock market Ltd. The company has also been providing its services from its 4 branches and other 2 sub-branches in Nepal.

 Narayanghat Branch Incharge Mr. Mahesh Kumar Poudel handed over cheque amount of Rs. 1 lac to vice Mayor of Bhartpur municipality Mr. Devi Gyawali on 24 Aug 2001. Company has settled the claim against accidental death of  late Ram Prasad Baral, employee of bhartpur municiplaity.  Ward chairmen, relative of bereaved family were also present on the occasion. Mr Gyawali has expressed appreciation and thanks for settlement of the claim timely.

Premier insurance has settled   1 core 77 lakhs 62  thousand 2  hundred and 96 Rupees of claim to M/s Lama construction co. Pvt. Ltd.

Company has settled this claim against the contractor's all risk insurance to Rapti bridge construction. Major Flood caused heavy damage to the construction site and materials. Company has paid the above amount to the insured as an 1st installment of 1 core 2 thousand 5 hundred and thirty five Rupees on 30 Apr 2001 and Balance  on              .
